Entourage

The following guide will take you through setting up a POP3 email account in Entourage.

You will need to know the following:

Start Entourage. From the Menu bar select Tools then Accounts to bring up the Accounts window.

Click on New then select Mail.

You can now let the Entourage Account Set up Assistant take you through the set up. Type in your email address. Ensure it is entered in lower case with no spaces between characters.

You may get an 'Automatic Configuration Failed' message as Entourage can't determine the necessary account information. Click the Right Arrow to continue.

Type in your incoming and outgoing mail servers. If you are using an IDNET email account on an IDNET internet connection enter the details exactly as shown below. Enter your email user name and password, remember to enter these details in lower case and with no spaces between characters. Ensure there is a tick in the Save Password box and click the Right Arrow to continue.

Select the right arrow to continue then click Verify My Settings. Once verified click Finish.

Enter a name for your mail account so that you can identify the account within Entourage then click the Right Arrow.

Congratulations. Your mail account is now ready to use. If you have any problems or need further assistance please contact the Support Team.
